A big number of riders is expected to thrill fans in round 4 of the Mountain Dew National motorcross championship. The event due 17th– 18th May 2025 in Omito Lira City, sees riders test the newest track.
78 have so far registered to take part in the thrilling competition in Northern Uganda. Riders are eager to compete in different categories including among others; 50CC Juniors, 50 CC Seniors, 65 CC, 85 CC, MX 125, MX 2, MX 1, Masters and Veterans class respectively.
Denzilanta Baliddawa, the Competition’s Manager, Uganda Motorcross Club; is upbeat ahead of this exciting challenge on the Omito Track covering 1.5km.
“The new track suits the best competition for our riders as it meets the standards. It is simply superb, sandy and provides a good view for our fans”, Denzilanta said.
The crucial part of the entire event is that motorcross fans have access to every viewing point since it is a free event. Uganda Motorcross Club, headed by Paul Kayigwa is the organizing club with Mountain Dew, the main sponsors.
