Vipers Sports Club has this Wednesday clinched the Star Times Uganda Premier League title after conquering Kitara in Hoima. The match played at the Royal Park Butema saw Vipers catapult Kitara 2-0.
Gusto Mulongo scored the opening goal (15th Minute) before lethal striker;Yunus Sentamu added more misery with a second half strike(68th Minute) to gift the Venoms, their seventh league title.
Kitara rested its stronger team ahead of the return leg of the Uganda Cup semi final where they trail Vipers 1-0.
The Venoms will receive their trophy next week on the final day of the league. They will host Soltilo Bright Stars at St. Mary’s Kitende.
