Kampala University Woodball Stars are in Nairobi representing Uganda at the 5th Taifa International Woodball Open that started on Friday.
A team of 12 players is participating in this prestigious tournament for the first time. It includes Six ladies and Six Men, ready to compete in both stroke and fairway games.
The team coach, Lilian Zawedde is optimistic for good results having assembled a strong team of experienced players.
“With a team of experienced players, we are confident of putting up strong performances and making our university proud”,Lilian assured.
The team that was established in December 2023 has done wonders, most especially, the 2024 Maseno Eastern Africa University Games where they emerged champions.
