Rising rally talent Walter Kibande is currently leading the Clubman Rally Championship category with an impressive 37 points this season. Now, the determined driver is setting his sights on the next big challenge: the Shell V-Power Pearl of Africa Rally in Mbarara due 8th -10th May 2025.
With only one goal in mind — victory; Kibande is preparing intensively to extend his lead and maintain his position at the top of the national standings (CRC) category partnered by his trusted co-driver Duncan Katumba. The impressive crew has built a solid reputation for consistency, precision, and passion in the rally events.
“This event means a lot to us,” said Kibande. “We’ve worked hard all season, and we’re coming into Mbarara with one mission: to win our category and give our fans something to cheer about.”

The prestigious event has 11 competitive stages covering a total distance of 486.26 kilometers with 298.16 Kilometers liaison and 188.10 Kilometers liaison.
