It was a tense weekend full of action in the return legs of the Masaza Cup quarter final clashes. Last year’s runners-up Kyaggwe stormed the semis following a 1-1 draw against islanders,Ssese. Kyaggwe won the first leg 2-0.
In another quarter final encounter at Mityana Ssaza Ground,Mike Kasule’s strike was enough to gift Ssingo a 1-0 win over three time champions’ Mawokota, thereby advancing 1-0 on aggregate.
Bugerere managed a 1-1 draw against Bululi but advanced 3-2 on aggregate as Buweekula got the same score against Busujju and sailed through 2-1 on aggregate.
The semi final first legs will be played on 12th October as Bugerere take on Ssingo, while Buweekula face Kyaggwe. The return legs are slated for 18th October 2025.The grand finale is scheduled for 1st November 2025 at Hamz stadium.
