We are counting two days before the last regional qualifier event for Mr. Uganda takes place on Saturday 20 September 2025. The event,’Mr. and Miss Central body building championship’ happens at the famous UMA show grounds with over fifty body builders flexing muscles.
The showdown is categorized in six weight categories-Bantam, Welter, Lightweight, Middle, Light Heavy and Heavy weight respectively. Each category winner automatically qualifies for the overall final that will determine the winner.
Event organizer Kisakye Denis Trinity in a Wednesday presser held at Mamerito Hotel Bweyogerere expressed excitement as a result of the prize money towards the finalists.
” We expect tight competition from the competitors and prize money is readily available to the various winners on Saturday,” Kisakye emphasized.
Kisakye, who is also the brand manager at Supplex Gym, the event sponsors, promises an electrifying event that will forever live in the minds of body building fans. The winner bags Five million shillings with another Five milion set aside for other winners.
Top body builder,Miyagi Pharooq has positioned himself for the title with a tough warning to his fellow competitors.
“My fellow competitors should come knowing that i have prepared enough for this competition, and i am taking the title,”Miyagi warned.
Middle weight power house , Baguli Martins roared before the press revealing that he is the best for grand title.
“You cannot compare to these guys, i have what it takes to win and i have already won.Kisakye,give me the money and i go,” Baguli said.
The top three in each category qualify for Mr.Uganda body building championship, the last event on the local body building calendar.
The big event is powered by Supplex Gym, Rosefoam Matresses, J&L industries, RZ Motorcycle Tubes and Brakes, NBS Sport, Buganda Kingdom, Victoria University, Scott Sports Nutrition, Fruit City, Uganda Fitness Elite.
