Kent Kenneth Arereng
A team of eight; four men, and four women, is set to represent the country at the 4th World Beach Cup and 1st Thailand Open International Beach Woodball Championship in Thailand.
The male team has Thomas Kedi(Captain), Amanyire Gilles, Akram Matovu and George Guma. Experienced player,Christine Birungi captains the women’s side that also has; Rhona Namutebi, Anita Nakyazze and Jackline Naula.
They will take part in the World Cup from September 7-12 2025 before engaging in the Thailand Open (September 9-13 2025).
Laem Charoen Beach Rayong is ready to host the Ugandan team that has been in residential training in Bunjako Beach (Mpigi District).
Uganda had a good outing in 2023 winning four medals but failed to make it last year due to logistical challenges. The team will take part in Stroke singles, Stroke team event and the fair way team event.
