The track is ready. The fans are in buoyant moods. The bikes are powered. And above it all, team 444 is more than prepared ahead of Sunday’s motorcross action at Victoria Raceway Track Garuga.
Southern Motor Club organizes the seventh and last round of the Mt.Dew Motorcross championship, which promises to be an electrifying event as riders crave for crucial points in the final battle for championship status.
One of the exciting teams to watch on Sunday, is Team 444, based in Sonde and owned by rally driver, Abdul Kateete.
On a surprise visit to Kateete’s place on Friday, the pearl sports team was excitingly welcomed by the Kateete girls as they prefer to be called. They had a clear and outright message,” We are going to perform well on Sunday”.
Shukran Kateete promises fire
The eleven-year girl is optimistic that she will perform well and make the team proud. Come and see me on Sunday. I am very ready for the race and i will make my fans happy,”Shukran said.
It’s the last race in the 65cc category before she upgrades to the 85CC next year.
Shadiah Kateete to crown it on a high
International University of East Africa student Shadiah Kateete is beaming with joy, and the anticipation is high ahead of Sunday.” As a team, we are excited and waiting for the race. This race will judge who will be on the podium.The Kateete girls will crown it with podium finishes,” Shadiah noted.
Shamilah cries out to Allah
To Shamilah Kateete, every race needs the presence of God. ” We need your support but above it all, Allah should guide for a good event for the 444 motorcross team, “Shamilah emphasized.
The race day will provide the perfect opportunity for Shadiah Kateete and Asia Kasirye who will also showcase rallying skills in a training session for rally drivers.
