Now that the Pearl of Africa rally fever is done and dusted, action switches to motocross this coming weekend. Uganda Motocross Club is bracing for the fourth round of the MT.Dew Motorcross championship at Victoria Race Way track Garuga.
In today’s launch held at Lugogo, Edward Mugweri, the event manager, expressed readiness by the organizing club.”Everything is set for round four of the competitive championship which has attracted a big number of riders”,Edward noted.
The Deputy Vice President in charge of Motor Cross (Federation of Motorsports Clubs of Uganda) Arthur Blick reiterated the federation’s support towards riders adding that this event is a good one for national team selection.
Riders are to compete in 50CC juniors, 50CC seniors, 65CC, 85 CC, 125CC, MX2, MX 1, Veterans and Ladies categories respectively.
The championship event is powered by Mt.Dew, Shell Advance, Worldwide Movers, Fire and Safety Appliances.
