Vipers Sports Club are the champions of the Uganda Premier League. The Kitende based side thrashed Maroons 3-0 in a game played on Tuesday evening at Muteesa II stadium Wankulukuku.
Two first half goals and a third in the second half were enough to gift Vipers a convincing win over Maroons. The Venoms’ forwards, Sentamu Yunus and Usama Arafat scored in 1st Minute and 45+2 Minutes respectively. Midfielder Karim Watambala added on the third goal in the 58th minute to seal it for Vipers.
The win moved Vipers to 64 points with the last clash set against Express Football club.
Kampala Capital City Authority FC were held to a goalless draw by the tax collectors, URA FC as Kitara FC also faced the same fate against Bul Fc at Njeru Technical Centre.
