Ever wondered why it’s Kampala’s finest event!!! Well, your guess is as good as mine. Ladies and Gentle Men, ‘The Auto Show’ is back with a bang and bigger. The 5th edition of the Auto show is slated for 17th -19th July 2026 at Kololo Ceremonial Independence grounds.
In a launch held on Monday 13th July 2026, at International University of East Africa, Buni Christopher, the team leader expressed happiness at the great partnership with the university, saying that it reflects great strides especially in areas of technology and education.
“In the last conversations that we had with the University administration, we agreed on a few things pertaining to education particularly scholarships. The Auto Show team is happy with the scholarships that will be given out ahead of the three-day showcase,” Buni noted.
IUEA’s Connie Kunihira emphasized the need for these two scholarships that are geared towards improving education especially in innovation.
Wandera Evans from Drift Motor Club Uganda reiterated their commitment to be part of the three-day thriller that will have segments of drifting from top drifters in the country.
“As Drift Motor Club Uganda, we are ready to be part of the Auto Show and expect the best from our drifters on those days,” Wandera said.
The three day action running on a theme-Safer vehicles, Safer Roads, Safer Journey has a combination of vintage cars, luxury cars and drifting respectively. The organizers haver made strong emphasis on vehicle inspection which is a strong pillar in ensuring safety of drivers.
