Ugandan rally driver Ibrahim Lubega A.K.A Pasuwa has on Wednesday September 30,2026 launched a fundraising drive aimed at securing USD 40,000 for a new rally car.
In a ceremony held at Copper Chimney Lugogo,Pasuwa said that the new car is worth $50,000 but he has deposited $10,000 meaning he is looking for the remaining $40,000 respectively.
The three-time two-wheel drive champion revealed that the new car is a Subaru Impreza N14 which he believes will help him to chase bigger dreams especially the National rally championship crown.
Pasuwa has been driving a Toyota FX and has been giving top drivers a run for their money and competing favorably.
Federation of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda General Secretary Reynolds Kibira noted that Pasuwa is a unique and special talent who needs maximum support for a new car.
“Pasuwa is a proven driver with a special talent who needs our support. As a federation, we are going to do our best so that he gets the car that he desires,Kibira noted.
The drive is powered by among others,Worldwide Movers,Rose foam Mattresses,Valuni Power Centre and Lugas Enegies respectively
