The boxing event,’ Inter City Fight Night’, is growing day by day and attracting huge numbers. On Saturday September 26, 2026, all roads led to Crested Crane Hotel Jinja for a rivalry between Wakiso and Jinja professional pugilists.
Wakiso assembled its best boxers, ready to devour Jinja’s crème de la cream and in the end, fans remained to witness the greatest night of hooks, jabs, upper cuts, knockouts, stances and ring girls.
Jinja meanwhile had one message; defeat ‘Wakiso’ and supremacy remains in Kyabazinga’s land.In total, 17 bouts were on card in a special night that had two ladies’ bouts.
The fight night had twelve knockouts registered with one draw fight between Fredrick Okou and Wakiso’s Tom Muwanguzi respectively. Wakiso prevailed over Jinja 9-7. The main fight had Jinja’s talkative pugilist, Daniel Musubo A.K.A Mpologoma fall to Wakiso’s Abdul Rashid Wanyama in the third round.
Friends of Boxing head of marketing and Development Frank Lulinda said that the competition was of the highest standard. “We as FOB are appreciative of boxers who exhibited the highest standard of competition. It was a night of knockouts and fans enjoyed every moment”, Frank noted.

Stanley Mugerwa,Owen Kibira,Kiwalabye Frank,Sseguya Abaasi,Nadhomie Zubairu,Abdu Rashid Wanyama,Brian Akankwasa,Edema Hamzah,Kabako Ambroce,Abdul Rashid Wanyama, Rachael Musubika and Mpaata Jacob, are some of the boxers who registered knockouts over their opponents, in a thrilling boxing experience.
FOB is set to organize the next edition of the Inter City Fight Night in October 2026.
