It’s probably the biggest test for Ugandan side Kitara FC as it hosts Egyptian side Al Ahly in the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round at Hoima City Stadium.
Kitara Fc coach Wasswa Bossa is aware of Al Ahly’s pedigree on the continental level and promises a positive result in tomorrow’s showdown.
” My players are in the right shape. We have a balanced team of young and experienced players. I am optimistic that we are getting positive results against Al Ahly,”Wasswa emphasized.
The Egyptians, who jetted in on Wednesday have a rich history of continental football especially the CAF Champions league. Al Ahly has a remarkable 12 CAF champions league titles and one CAF Confederation Cup (2014).
Wasswa Bossa believes that a moment will define the result in tomorrow’s encounter against the African giants.” When playing big teams, you rely on that decisive moment that wins the game and am optimistic, Kitara will get the win in Hoima,” Wasswa said.
Saturday’s match is crucial for, ‘The Royals’ who are making their first appearance at this stage of the CAF confederation Cup competition.
