Two-time national rally champion, Susan Muwonge spent the whole day-Friday August 7, 2026, mingling with the parents and kids as they actively participated in the well-organized Sports Day activities at Buddo Secondary School pitch.
The educationist, known for nurturing the little ones, could not hide her excitement as the talented crop of young stars took part in various sports activities. Parents could be seen morale boosting their kids, an indication that everyone who thronged the venue, came with one mission, ’support the children’. Indeed, the Kids Olympics 2026 lived up to its billing with a star-studded schedule of sports disciplines organized.
“As seen, our message is very clear. We train our children to be strong, brave, happy and work as a team. It’s not about writing but rather training children through play,” Susan said.
The school director was appreciative of the new curriculum, designed by the Ministry of Education and Sports.” The new curriculum is good for our kids as it highlights on aspects of progressive assessment, “Susan noted.
Balance books and academics
In today’s era, Susan Muwonge believes that children need to be trained through play, a thing which goes a long way in shaping their future.” We have to balance books and sports for our children. It is not about writing but rather training children through sports, “Susan emphasizes.
