The Edge Convention Centre in Nairobi, will be an area of boxing action on Saturday 25 July 2026. Two professional boxing pugilists, Catherine Nanziri and Tanzanian Husna Zamba will be battling for a Super Feather weight Title belt (Pugilistic Syndicate Title)
The 26-year-old Cathy, coached by Sam Rukundo, landed in Nairobi on Thursday 24th July 2026 and wasted no time in warning Husna.” I have been training hard for this fight, I badly need this title and it’s going home. PST belt is a big mileage in my career and am more than ready to face the Tanzanian,” Cathy said.
Being a brand ambassador of Friends of Boxing, gives Cathy a great milestone in early preparations and facilitation. “F.O.B has done more than enough to facilitate my training camp, a thing that has boosted my motivation levels,”Cathy appreciated.
Husna, who lost the first fight against Cathy on 1st April 2022(Kampala) reveals that she has corrected all the mistakes that made her fall to the Ugandan.” This is a rematch against Nanziri which i hope to win. I have trained well and the ring will talk, not me,” Husna emphasized.
As it stands, fans are eagerly waiting for tomorrow’s show time in Kenya. To, Nanziri, who is an orthodox boxer, this is an opportunity to showcase Uganda’s talent as she carries the flag, high.
With a fight record of 8:0:0(4 ko’s), Cathy possess the power needed to execute the mission in tomorrow’s important fight. Five Tanzanian boxers including, Sadra Mohamed, Egine Kayange, Lulu Kayage, Halimah Bandola and Jivunieni Kisarawe, have all fallen prey to Cathy’s quick boxing combinations.
